Retiremnet Age for Umpires

There should be a retirement age for umpires.

You let some one who is 61 years old to be in the elite panel of umpires. It's obvious that quality of umpiring is so bad these days.

They might have been the best of the class. Status should change with time.

Steve Bucknor & Mark Benson

The credit for making the Worst Decisions in the history of cricket goes to
Steve Bucknor.

I am referring to the decisions he made during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, 2nd Test,
Australia v India - 007/08 season, Played at Sydney Cricket Ground on 2,3,4,5,6 January 2008.

Together they stood examples for bad umpiring.

Symonds was blessed with a second chance when he had scored just 30 runs. He went on to make 160 plus. This could have changed the match.

Dravid was given caught behind in 2nd Innings. The bat had not contact with the ball.

Ganguly was given caught behind in 2nd Innings. The catch was taken after the ball had bounced once.

These are only samples. There were too many blunders.
